Hi, you are viewing a super gorgeous 2011 Chevy Malibu with only 34k miles on the vehicle. This is a No Reserve Auction which means the highest bidder will be taking home this gorgeous Chevy Malibu home. This Chevy is extra clean and it runs, drives and shifts great. The vehicle has been properly maintained. All filters were regularly changed and maintained as well. All around this is a great reliable car that will last you many years to come. It rides really smooth and everything works as it should. The Brakes are in great condition and tires are like new.

This Chevy has a lively 2.4L engine that has 169 horsepower and gets up to 160 pound-feet of torque. This vehicle is great on gas, it gets up to 33 MPG which is remarkable. The Malibu has a lot of style and is gorgeous inside and out.

The Chevy Malibu is equipped with many safety features, including antilock disc brakes, traction control, post-collision safety system and stability control. This Chevy has Dual front side-mounted airbags, Passenger airbag occupant sensing deactivation, Front and rear head airbags and a Child seat anchors . Making it one of the safest vehicles on the road.

This 2011 Chevy Malibu will come with a NY rebuilt title due to small damage to the front of the vehicle, the airbags were never deployed. The vehicle has been professionally repaired and looks like new again. Great job done on the work as this vehicle is back to factory specs and in great shape. The vehicle since underwent a New York State rigorous salvage program and passed. This is a serious exam that looks at every aspect of the vehicle. The vehicle was then issued the rebuilt title mentioned above which is as good as a clear title but will always have the salvage history.

Vehicle will be relisted if deposit is not paid within 3 days or full payment/pickup is not made/arranged.

Local pickup is available. If not possible, shipping arrangements and costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. I can give you an approximate quote based on your location. Diesel Power finds the ultimate modified oil-burner

Sat, 24 Aug 2013

For nine years, Diesel Power magazine has run the Diesel Power Challenge, this year's grindfest being "a week-long torture test that features seven events, nine trucks, 8,000 horsepower, and nearly 15,000 pound-feet of torque." The road to being crowned "the most powerful truck" starts with a dyno run, and then continues through the completion of a CDL-style obstacle course, an eighth-of-a-mile drag race while towing a 10,000-pound trailer, a quarter-mile drag race without a trailer, a fuel economy test in the mountains and finally a sled-pulling test through a 300-foot-long packed-mud pit.
What kind of trucks get into such a fight? Last year's winner, for instance - who upgraded his truck this year to prove he didn't "luck into the win" - drives a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6.4-liter Power Stroke V8 upgraded with a custom intake, Elite Diesel triple turbos and a two-stage nitrous system. Another competitor has a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins inline-six, upgraded with Garrett turbos, dual-stage nitrous, a seven-inch exhaust stack and twin fans built into the bed to cool the Sun Coast Omega transmission. The numbers on that truck: 1,255 horsepower, and 2,063 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. Naturally, as the image above might suggest, things don't always end well.
You'll find all five videos covering this years challenge below. A scene in the dyno video sums it all up perfectly: a competitor leaves his nitrous on too long and the crew is treated to some ominous poppings, he leans out the window, throws both hands up and shouts, "Amer'ca!"

Watch NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon put one over on a used car dealer... sorta

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Head over to PickupTrucks.com to read the full evaluation and the final results. You may be shocked to see exactly where some of the segment's newest additions placed. You can also watch a video on the test below.
