1970 Chevelle second owner first owner had since new untill about 6months ago. Car came from California it has no rust under it or has any of the body panels been changed. Hood as you can see was upgraded to a ''cowl induction'' hood, but I still have the original flat hood that can go with car if you want. The car was resprayed factory colors Asto-Blue do to the original paint was aged and faded and couldnt be polished. There was no body work like bondo or anything like that just a respray so there are some improfections. Door jams, trunk lid ect. are still shiney and clean original paint and match to the new. I did have a set of Dual Exauhst put on to a nice rumble but not to loud. It has a 15,00.00 dollar set of new SS/Crager wheels and Tires with less than 160 miles on them. The interior is still original as seen in pictures from a scale from 1-10 I would rate it a 9 it was kept verry well there is a small tear on driver side seat that could be repaired by a upholstrey shop easaly, no cracks on dash everything still works as it should, carpet is original and still looks new. The engine and transmission run verry well and are matching number is what I was told, everything is in working order and looks to be correct, it is a 200hp/307 V8-5.0L w/2bbl carb original. Car runs like a champ no problems. Under the car and trunk are solid with ''no rust ever'' milage on this ride is true and have lots of documentation that goes with it includeing thne original warranty card (Protecto-Plate). This is a car that you can drive and not worry about what someone else did to it, and show it off.

Why the Corvette's Performance Data Recorder can be illegal in some states

The Performance Data Recorder with Valet Mode available on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray seems like a fantastic tool for many owners. Whether they are taking 720p video while lapping the track in their new 'Vette, or just want to protect their purchase from inconsiderate joyriders, the system offers a lot of functionality in one package. However, one of the PDR's features might get buyers in trouble with the law, and it has nothing to do with recording some illicit high-speed driving on a favorite back road. The problem hinges on the various state laws concerning a person's right to privacy.
According to a letter posted by Jalopnik, Chevy dealers are asking 2015 Corvette owners not to use the Valet Mode portion of the PDR because it records audio in the cabin, in addition to performance specs. That's a problem because privacy laws vary from state to state with some requiring just one side's consent to tape sound and others requiring all parties to agree. According Jalopnik, 15 states mandate everyone's permission beforehand, but it's not clear whether these numbers are up to date. (Actually, the report varies, saying 13 states in some places and 15 in a list.)
According to the letter, Chevy is already working on a software update for the near future to rectify the issue. It's possible that simply adding a warning to drivers and the ability to turn off the audio recording function in Valet Mode might solve the problem. Obviously, this doesn't preclude Corvette drivers from using the performance aspect of the PDR, and owners are free tape lap after lap at the track.

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
