Brookhaven, Mississippi, United States

This car I just found by word of mouth locally in a man's garage.  I will make no bones about it. I bought the car strictly to flip. He works overseas and builds engines as a hobby when he is home.  He was well on his way to making this car one good looking ground pounding driver. This would be an awesome car to take to "Cruzin the Coast".
For all you motorheads I can tell you that the block is casting# is T0205TSK (1977 454/250hp when stock ,the heads are cast iron 990's , dual feed PRO FORM 750 Carb.,Edelbrock Victor Jr. high-rise aluminum intake, steel cowl hood, headers, new 3" exhaust true dual flowmasters, BORED .60 over, dome pistons, solid lift cam 590/600,all internals and most externals are new.
The car has an electric fuel pump and new gas tank.
This engine has less than 5 miles on it, IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO LEAKS, Break -in oil is 0w/30 Mobil 1 Synthetic
The negatives in my opinion
  • needs tires
  • no PS or PB
  • no windshield wipers on car
  • the roof needs to be re-skined(existing sunroof) no headliner bows still there
  • trunk needs patchwork
  • no trunk lock cylinder
15x8 Corvette ralleye's on rear
15x7Camaro ralleye's on front

The positives in my opinion
  • car came with factory air condition
  • finish restoration as you drive
  • $10,000 + engine alone
  • nice interior
  • Pump gas
  • TH 400 tranny
  • 4.10:1 posi / 12-bolt

Body and paint is just OK.... for a driver.... I have definitely seen better.
Several trim items are missing. It just depends on the look you are wanting ( SS trim or not)
I have not even cleaned the car ...the way you get it is the way I got it.  Except driving it to get fuel.

FIX IT UP ! LS5,LS6 CLONE, BALDWIN MOTION, DO IT YOUR WAY!

I have only owned this car a few weeks.I am giving you an honest description of what I can see, hear,or have been told about it's condition. Please do not expect a $60,000 car. I am listing at NO RESERVE but as a buyer you have the responsibility to inspect the car and ask questions before bidding. If you want to bid on my car with less than a feedback score of 10-call me first please. My name is Scotty 601-754-1794. If you do not I will cancel your bid.  This is a AUCTION- WHAT YOU BID IS WHAT YOU PAY.  I RESERVE THE OPTION TO END THE AUCTION EARLY IF THE RIGHT OFFER IS MADE.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL ! If I miss your call , you can also text and I will call you back.

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.
