The Chevelle you have been waiting for. Car was originally purchased in 1966 by a woman news paper reporter in Ventura, CA. She later sold to a friend that owned a towing company who later sold to a relative then he purchased it back and stored it for the past 15-years in Oak View, CA. I purchased the car from the retired tow truck company owner in October 2013. Work completed by: New Image Customs, San Diego, CA Has original number matching motor & auto trans. Tuned up and ready to go. Factory A/C car. A/C compressor is there but not connected.

New Trunk coating New Interior: Including (Dash pad / Head liner / Sun visors / Seat covers With new seat foam / Carpet / Insulation under carpet / Kick panels / Floor mats (Read Chevelle America's Super Car / Door panels / Rear interior panels / Arm rests front and rear / Rear ash trays / Door sill plates (still have plastic on them) New Dash Trim kit including knobs and switches / Most interior chrome moldings / Window & door handles inside and out. New Brake & Gas Pedal / E Brake Handle New window felts / door weather stripping / trunk stripping. New Seat belts Electrical: New head light switches, relays, light bulbs. All lights, brake lights and turn signals are working. New dash bulbs, new tail light and blinker bulbs. Dome light New Front windshield and seal. Removed Rear window and reinstalled with new rubber weather stripping. New Exterior trim, moldings emblems / Mirrors inside and out. New Front & rear chrome bumpers / bolts New Front grill / head light moldering / trim New Trunk molding / Tail light lens New Front and rear brakes New Coils springs front and rear New Shocks front & rear Newer Radiator / New radiator cap New Edelbrock Intake New Edelbrock Carb. 650 CFM New Thermostat / Tune up (Plugs wires, cap rotor belts radiator hoses etc.) New Power steering pump. Motor and Trans are not new but run strong. New 18" Boss Wheels & Tires Original parts: Wing windows are not in perfect condition & has some pitting on the chrome but decide to leave the original chrome wing windows. Exterior chrome trim around the windshield & rear window are in good condition but not perfect.
Finishing touching being completed this week: New Brake master cylinder New Battery Windshield wiper blades
Included in sale the original intake manifold and carb.
Needs: Radio / (Original Horn Button for steering wheel) (tried to order one and it's been on back order for months) Original Shifter level has some pitting on the chrome. Could use some work on the a/c & heating ducts. We were having a hard time finding the new ducts to replace the old ones under the dash. This will be a great car for someone. Vehicle has had a lot of work completed, however please remember this is 48 year old car. No warranties. Vehicle is being sold in it's present condition.

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
