Rare 60 Parkwood wagon, excellent running 327 powerglide trans ... Engine was rebuilt exact miles unknown , no smoke ,tap, etc runs great! All brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank reconditioned etc.. The cars body speaks for itself, everywhere a 60 wagon rots or people refuse to show pics of this car is good.. The roof was stripped down to the bare clean metal! etched primed, Euro primed, then painted in Urethane, that's 3/4 of the car done already...Frame excellent condition, floor mounts , braces, inner structures all there original ! Tailgate area extremely strong, and yes the window rolls down free on this one unlike most that are rusted shut .. All glass is in good shape especially the quarter windows..A new tinted front windshield included in the sale ($400.) .. Interior is complete needs everything , or throw Mexican blankets over the seats and do the Rat rod thing.. Its a rare chance to come across one of these wagons as structually sound as this one.. YOu will save thousands of dollars in rust work by starting with this car, and save many hours if your looking to restore one, THIS IS THE CAR, study the pics, I offered something nobody else does when selling an X frame car , pics of the bottom of the car .. Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum.
