Up for sale today is our '08 Chevrolet Impala 9C1 with the undercover police package. This is no stripped-down cop car. It's basically an LS with the bigger LT engine and heavy duty drivetrain & suspension underneath. Truly the best of all worlds! It even has the radiator & brake system of the V8-equipped SS model. Don't worry though, this car hasn't spent its life idling around endlessly, jumping curbs on potholed city streets, or blowing through medians like most former police cars. This one just came out of service with the U.S. Navy down in New Orleans. We're told it was being used by one of the head honchos down there which explains the low low 66k miles on the certified odometer!
Now, if you're like us then you may be wondering why our government would have sold off a fresh Impala with only 66k on the odometer & one which has hundreds of thousands of miles of life left in it. GOOD QUESTION! It's no wonder we're over 16 trillion in debt! However, let our collective loss as taxpayers be your individual gain! With this car you can pick up a fresh, low mileage Impala for just a fraction of the cost of a new one and drive it for at least a few years without a big depreciation hit!
Look at the option list above, this car has them all! No spotlight or light bar holes at all. The 3900 Flex Fuel V6 will run on gas (yay) or ethanol (boo) plus it has active fuel management which we understand to mean that cylinders can be deactivated during cruise for even better miles per gallon. All we know is that it gets over 30MPG highway and average well into the 20s around town! We've taken it on several road trips to football games so when we tell you this car is ready to hit the road, we aren't just whistling Dixie...we've put it to the test! It even has the full hubcaps and trunk mat like a regular Impala LT. It's basically an Impala LT with cloth front seats. Best of all, we got a great buy on this car that we're passing along to you in the form of a LOW RESERVE that is THOUSANDS BELOW the BOOK VALUE of nearly $15,000!!!
NADAguides.com Price Report
Mileage: 51,000 miles
We inspect and photo what you see and what you can't see. We'll also be glad to email you detailed, closeup pictures of any area you'd like to see more of. People ask us all the time what is the catch to our vehicles. They assume that the prices are low because there is something wrong with them. Nothing could be further from the truth! Our secret is simple...LOW OVERHEAD. We are an internet-only dealer. We do not maintain regular office hours or a large sales facility. We simply have a Mississippi bonded dealer's license, a storage lot, and a computer. Since we don't have dozens of mechanics, helpers, salesmen, secretaries, etc. on our payroll; we are able to sell at greatly reduced prices.
You will notice that we sometimes go with private auctions. Our reasons are twofold...the latest scam is to send bogus 2nd chance offers to customers from a fake email address in an attempt to scam them out of money. With a private auction the scammers won't know who our bidders are so if you get a 2nd chance offer from us you will know that it is the real deal! In addition, we set our reserves to sell which upsets other sellers! In fact, sometimes we set our reserve $1,000 or more below what our cost is. This leads other sellers to email our customers and knock our product! We will provide the winning bidder, upon request, with a complete bid history including the usernames & bid amounts of all other bidders. All new or low feedback (under 5 positives) bidders must first email us for no other reason than just to make contact. This way we know we have serious bidders! If you don't make contact we will cancel your bid and black you out from future bidding. We do this to avoid the de@dbe@t bidders, so please respect our policy. If you have a rating of 5 or better you don't have to email us. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy our site and add us to your favorites, because you just never know when your dream vehicle will pop up!!!
We've put this vehicle through our EXTENSIVE inspection process & can report it has a great ride & drive! We do our best to let you know of any/all issues we can find on these vehicles since you're buying sight-unseen. The only thing we'd nitpick is one of the tire pressure sensors must be bad b/c it keeps telling us to check the system & sometimes the power door locks stick. We'll try to get it fixed or we'll lower the reserve accordingly. WATCH THE VIDEO. If you have any specific questions then don't hesitate to call us email us. Please understand we do our best to describe, in detail, every vehicle we offer to the Ebay public. However, if you have any hesitation during the bidding period, please obtain a Buyer's Inspection PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR BID to satisfy yourself. After the auction ends, understand you are the legal winning bidder of this auction and agree to all our Terms and Conditions. Feel free to fly-in & drive this one home to momma! It is mechanically sound & ready to make a trip. Be sure and take a look at the book values on this vehicle (or any other we have for sale) before you bid. We stopped offering a built-in BuyIt Now option due to ebay's policy of letting anyone with an email address register a username. We had half a dozen de@dbe@t bidders in a row hit the BIN with no intention of paying. We do have a BuyIt Now price so give us a call if you're interested. Make sure you call us for more information on this vehicle. As always though, our reserve is THOUSANDS less than NADA value so bid early & bid often so you don't miss out!
Don't be outbid at the last minute! With the eBay proxy bidding system all you have to do is enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay when you get ready to bid. Ebay will then automatically bid against other people for you up to that amount to help make sure you don't miss out.
This saves you from getting sniped in the last few seconds of an auction by someone with a computer program. Don't try and bid in small increments at the last minute...go ahead & bid the full amount you're willing to pay then let eBay do the hard work!
This vehicle is for sale locally so we must reserve the right to end the auction early due to local sale. However, once the reserve is met then we will let the auction run its course & sell to the high bidder. Now for the fine print...

Folks, we don't mean to sound harsh, but we do sell used cars. If you want a car in brand new condition then go pay anywhere from $20-60,000 or more at a new car dealer. We will make every reasonable effort to describe the vehicle, and we include many photos to assist in that effort. However, it is important to remember that these vehicles are pre-owned, not brand new. Therefore, minor items such as cigarette lighters, manuals, CD changer magazines, keyless entry remotes, etc. may be missing. And, as with any used vehicle, minor signs of wear may become apparent under close inspection. This may include small chips, light scratches or minor abrasions, wheel scuffs, and other indications of normal wear and tear. We cannot and will not be held liable or responsible for these issues. We Disclose our cars as much as we can, But don't forget you are bidding on a USED car. If you have any questions about the condition please feel free to contact us.
We Sell At Below-Wholesale Prices And Cannot Provide Spare Keys Or Floor Mats Unless They Are Already With A Vehicle. Feel free to contact us if you need this information. We CANNOT Be Held Responsible For Expenses Or Repairs Beyond The Point Of Delivery. We say this for the simple fact that once you leave then what happens hundreds of miles down the road is out of our control. We do our best to make all our vehicles road-ready. In most cases we have already driven them 4-800 miles ourselves.
Terms of Sale
Winning bidder MUST contact us within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements for payment at that time. Balance due within 5 days of auction end. This is due to the large number of de@dbeat bidders out there. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or otherwise dispose of it. PLEASE arrange your own financing prior to bidding. De@dbeat bidders WILL receive negative feedback & be reported to ebay.
Payment Must Be Made VIA Cashier's Check, Bank-to-Bank Wire Transfer, or Cash (in person). We must be able to verify funds prior to vehicle delivery. Generally we have almost all titles on hand. However, we sometimes buy vehicles that are dealer trade-ins where there is a payoff involved so the title may be delayed. Feel free to contact us if you need to verify we have the title on hand for a particular vehicle. All Titles Are Held For Up To 14 Working Days For Funds To Clear, Then Will Be Sent via Priority Mail. On Average, Titles Go Out Within a Few Days, But Occasionally There May Be Delays Beyond Our Control. We Cannot Accept Credit Card or Escrow Payments.

All Other U.S. Buyers Will Pay Their Own State Taxes Themselves In Their Home State along with a $99 Documentation Fee in addition to the winning bid. This covers our costs for a notary, Fedex charges, and other paperwork including a temporary transit tag. Lousiana, Canadian and other foreign buyers must pay a $149 Documentation Fee to cover the extra Fedex and other expenses associated with doing international (and Cajun) paperwork.
We're happy to help ARRANGE shipping however ultimately it is the buyer's responsibility to pick up or ship the vehicle. If you want to have your vehicle shipped we recommend DAS Auto Shippers. We've used them many times in the past with good reults. For the best rate contact them directly. Call 800-626-2505 for the fastest quote. To save money be sure and specify "terminal to terminal" shipping. We'll drop the vehicle off at their local terminal here at no charge to save you money. If you pick up the vehicle at a terminal nearby instead of having it delivered to your doorstep then you'll save even more!
If you don't want to make the long trip home then we have a local retired Army Sergeant Major that can drive most vehicles to you. He charges $1/mile for cars, $1.25/mile for light trucks and SUVs, and $1.50/mile for heavy-duty trucks and RVs. His charge is non-negotiable and must be paid separately.
If you prefer to fly in & drive home we'll be glad to pick you up at Jackson Internation Airport ("JAN"), the local Greyhound station, or the Amtrak Depot. Our business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday (CST). Please arrange your flight times accordingly. We are more than happy to provide free pickup during normal business hours. We no longer will deliver vehicles after-hours or on weekends. Occasionally things pop up like a blown fuse or a headlight going out and after hours a mechanic isn't there to fix it.
We will store your vehicle up to 90 days free, however you must provide full coverage insurance. We will not be responsible for damage or theft while in storage here. Our insurance policy will not allow it.
If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. Please make sure that the contact information (email address and phone number) in your ebay profile is up to date. If you're email bounces back on us then we will block you from further bids until you call us. Occasionally we may call to verify a bidder is legitimate. If we can't reach you then we reserve the right to cancel your bid.
Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. We spend approximately $150 per listing. This is how we make our living. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to Ebay, and negative feedback posted. We are not one of those sellers who is afraid to leave bad feedback where it is due even at the risk of receiving it ourselves in return(one of the major flaws in eBay's feedback system). You can look at our "feedback left for others" page for proof.
PLEASE ONLY BID WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. IF THE RESERVE IS NOT MET, WE MAY CONTACT THE HIGH BIDDER TO OFFER THE SECOND CHANCE OPTION.
At our dealership we work very hard to accurately describe our vehicles through text descriptions and elaborate photos. When you purchase a pre-owned vehicle it is not a new vehicle. Any used vehicle can have normal wear and blemishes. Before placing a bid please read the descriptions thoroughly and view all pictures.
Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof. We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket. Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month. The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above). Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models. Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."
