Great American 1966 Impala not SS!

Here is my 66 impala, I bought this car in Iowa flew in and drove it home to south Texas 1500 miles the car drove perfect. As you see the car right now that is how it sits. This car has a 327 small block none matching number, with a 2 speed power glide. I was told it had just been rebuilt. It is very strong, no leaks, does not burn any oil, runs and drives just like it is suppose to. The car had rust on the rear quarters and on the lower front fenders I had a body man cut out and redo them with new metal, they did a great job hardly any body filler getting it ready for paint. This car has a perfect original floors, doors and fenders with no rust. I put new tires 265/50/15 with 8 inch corvette ralleys that make this car look incredible. This is a real fun car to drive and is ready for a paint job. The interior has new. Carpet, door panels, seats, steering wheel and Speedo are almost perfect and look original. The trunk has two small holes on both front corners that need to be repaired not bad. Holes are about 8x8 inches. Car has just been inspected in the state of Texas so it is legal for a whole year.  Hello and thanks again for looking I did not put in the add that this car has all new front end bushings, new disc brakes with high performance slotted rotors, new calipers, hoses, all new brake lines, new master and brake booster! New rear axle seals, new shocks in front and air shocks in rear thanks again and good luck!

 Also to mention the stainless around the windows and doors looks pretty close to perfect, all the glass looks original no cracks or scratches wiper arms look to be the original stainless. It also has new dual exhaust with what they used to call sherry boobs which make the car sound great. These are questions people have asked so as I get them I will answer so that everybody can get as much information as possible keep the questions coming. The floors frame rails and door skins look perfect no rust thanks again.

 Horn, head lights high and low, blinkers, stop lights, wipers, and seat belts all work like they are suppose to. Somebody asked I answered everybody thanks for looking just another bit of info for your decision making hope that you are having a great  day.

The answer to somebody's questions Tires have around 100 miles on them, radio works but not great and primer is DuPont 2K. And also it has a spare tire with a jack.

To the guy with the latest question, belts, water pump, upper and lower hoses, fuel pump, starter, antifreeze and wiper blades they are all new. Thanks for your questions and feel free to come drive and feel this great American made car.

For the one with the paint and bumper question. As you can see some body work has been done all with new metal there is no rust left on the car and the paint on it is cracked not flaky it actually looks really good gives it a nostalgic appearance. Clean windows new tires it has been the eye catcher everywhere I take it thumps up. As for the bumpers they have a couple of real tiny dings not bad the chrome is really nice thanks again for your question if you think of any other keep them coming and good luck.

To the latest question first of all thanks No this is not an A/C car. A nice little after market vintage air would be nice. But this car came from factory with no A/C.

The latest question discoloration of the front header and the bumper looks up a little. No No No the car has not ever been hit the bumper missal lined a little absolute no body or frame damage thanks for the question.
