Super Low Miles 7,100

1996 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport

The pics are of bill grumpy jenkins vega race car. I will upload the pics of the impala.

This was the last year for the full size Impala.  Comes standard with a 5.7L 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 motor, with 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission, 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes.  Limited slip differential, rear wheel drive.  Fully loaded with all options.  with AM/FM stereo cassette.  Black with gray leather bucket seats, power 6 way driver and passenger seats.  And all the other creature comforts that came with this very unique car.  Never been apart and is all original.  The car handles incredibly.  This is an opportunity to own an new Impala SS if you missed out when they first came out.  This car is soon to be a very sought after collectors vehicle.

I'm the original owner, I bought the car new and have kept  it in mint condition.  I used regular oil for the first thousand miles to break in the motor and switched to Amzoil Synthetic Oil and filter ever since.  The car has never been in an accident and it's well maintained.  This car has never seen rain or snow and is always garaged.  It has 7,100 miles on it now.  I may put a few more miles on before its sold.  I have the original bill of sale and original paperwork.

There is a stain, not sure if it can be removed, under the right side passenger floor under the mat. One of my kids spilled soda. They still say they didn't do it.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.

GM takes heat for aborted Silverado riff on 'Boston Strong' at World Series

Thu, 31 Oct 2013

During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The St. Louis promo was ultimately called off, though, over concerns that it'd be insensitive to the visiting Boston Red Sox. (You can see the image of what the stunt would have looked like above, courtesy of one timely Reddit user.)
Now, the Busch Stadium stunt might not have been a big deal, had the St. Louis Cardinals not been playing the Boston Red Sox. Following the tragic events in Boston during the marathon back in April, the phrase "Boston Strong" gained traction among the city's citizens, especially at sporting events. So, you can imagine that Chevy's appropriation of the phrase might not sit well with some fans.
The stunt was ultimately shelved after images of the signs went viral before the game, leading to a bit of a public backlash. Chevy spokesperson Michael Albano said of the promo that it was meant to show the brand's "commitment to baseball and its fans." But after the images went viral, the company "realized there was the possibility that we may offend some of the very fans we were trying to honor," Albano told Automotive News via email.
