1964 2 door Impala. I will let the pictures do the talking there are way too many accessories and options to mention. The car has been stored for approximately 20 years. I removed and cleaned out the gas tank about 2 months ago, changed the oil and it fired right up. Some of the options have to be reconnected, they work but like I said they need to be connected. The pictures that I posted were taken within the past month. some are from a local car-show and the others were at the house. The frame has NEVER been cut or modified in any-way (I'll type it again) the frame has NEVER been cut or modified in any-way. The reason it looks lowered from the front-end is because the coil-springs were shortened. The car has been re-painted in the original colors. It has 83000 original miles on the original matching numbers 327 engine which is connected to a 700 transmission and electronic ignition. The car runs great after all this time in storage. The car still has the original headliner and door panel upholstery from 1964. The seats were reupholstered with the original fabric. The car also has the original factory soft-ray tinted windows. You can see the chrome suspension parts in the pictures. GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.

Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
