1964 2dr Biscayne comes with a clear title. I had started stripping the car down for a complete inspection to build it back to factory specs. The over all body is in great shape. The Frame is rust free. The only cancer rust is in the passenger front floor pan. All other Floors,Rocker panel, Door jam, Hood, Fenders, Inners fenders, are nice and solid. The trunk center pan has been fiber glassed by the previous owner. I have everything to put the car back together EXCEPT BACK WINDSHIELD and Back Side glass. I will trying to locate but no grantees I have them.

The auction includes: Sound system that's, (2) 10in Alpine speakers in a custom box, touch screen cd player, 1600 watt 2 channel amp, 22in Rims and tires no curbing with 95% tread. All New chrome consist of: Speedometer, Hood hinges, Transmission mount, Grill, Hood latch, Horn, Headlight buckets and bezels. All new interior arm rest, Dash pad. I have a complete turn key 350/325hp motor with 6000 miles, new aluminum radiator, HEI distributor, new chrome shorty headers backed by a 350 Transmission that I had in my 1964 2dr Impala. I made a video 3 days ago of motor running. I will give all the trim a have with car.

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?

Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards

Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
