You are looking at an all original 1962 Chevrolet Impala. This car is all factory including the 6 cylinder engine and automatic power glide transmission. The car was repainted years ago in original color. Everything in the car works perfect with the exceptions of the clock and wipers. The car runs and drives perfect. It was recently driven a round trip of 800 miles with no problems. In fact it actually made the trip averaging 24 MPG! Some of these new cars don't even get that. The body and undercarriage are very straight. The car would be very easy to restore to show condition or can be driven as is now. I am the third owner of this car which was purchased new here in South Carolina. I have all the original paperwork including the owners manual and bill of laden. The car also has the optional glass washer fluid bottle and original floor mats. Also has the original optional tinted front glass. This car is definitely a classic worth taking pride in. PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes

Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
