Beautifully Customized White With Blue Pipeing Chev, Elcamino on 2040-cars
Julesburg, Colorado, United States
this beautiful automobile runs and drives like new, it has been restored and customized by a previous owner from whom I purchased in Denver, Colorado. Last summer I had a brand new GM Goodwrench 350 cid engine professionally installed, including almost all new parts under the hood. The engine has <1000 miles on it and comes with full 100,000 mile warranty. A partial listing of new parts includes: new HD aluminum radiator, new custom Jegs Performance Intake Manifold, edlebrock performer carb, HD Battery, altenator, Custom chrome valve covers, high output distributer, oil pump and water pump, new belts and hoses, all new plugs and hd wires. The transmission, a.c. system, and differential have all been flushed, inspected, and fluids replaced with the best new synthetic available. Also nearly new stainless steel exhaust system, with great sounding dual "flow master" mufflers. has factory air shocks, and positraction rear end. Like new Cooper 15" Discoverer all terrain tires. AM>FM radio, cold A.C, and everything works, even the electric clock. Body paint is in good condition and has custom "West Coast" style body trim. There is moderate rust under left side wheel flare lip and a very small amount on right side. The interior is in excellent condition, including custom bucket seats, and new head liner. Body is arctic white and interior is royal satin blue. All gages work excellent. This automobile is an excellent "Chevrolet Lovers" show car. I am convienently located close to I 76 and I 80 in N>E> corner of Colorado.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

This is your 2014 Chevrolet SS
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.
