Hey guys, where to start? This beautiful 1969 SS El Camino has a nice straight body; it has a very appealing paint job that stands out. The paint job is only a few years old. Both front and back bumpers are in good shape, the back bumper shows a little age. The doors open and close nicely. This 1969 SS El Camino is a numbers matching car, and the drive train has been professionally rebuilt. This beautiful car is fun to drive around town as a daily driver, and even nice enough to be a show car. All the weather stripping around windows and doors are new. The interior has been restored to factory look, it has original door panels, and the seats and headliner have been beautifully reupholstered.  Plus it only has 5,000 miles on the drive train since it was rebuilt.

Now to the good stuff, this is a REAL muscle car! Even better it’s reliable enough to be a daily driver or to drive cross-country.

Engine- The original 396 CID has been removed and rebuilt. It sports thirty over 11-to-a speed pro forged hypertec pistons, with full floating pins, HD (heavy duty) full floating connecting rods, with 7/16 rod bolts. Forged steal crank, with radiused oil holes and a cast-iron open chambered cylinder heads with (2.25 IN & 1.88 EX.). Voodoo cam hydraulic .554/.572 lift/3/8 push rods/ with comp rockers. It has a high volume oil pump and a GM aluminum intake, with a dyno tuned Holley 870 CFM Street Avenger. HPC coated Hooker Super Comp. Headers. It also has a GM electronic HEI ignition system.

It has a new Flow Master 2 1/2” full exhaust system. The original turbo 400 has been professionally rebuilt and a shift kit has been added to handle 600 horse power. It has a custom built 2200 RPM stall converter. It has a HD 3” drive line, with forged yokes, with HD U-joints. All this hooks to a GM 12-bolt with an Easton posi with 373 Richmond gears. It has a rear sway bar. This car has new Leaf Springs, shackles, and bushings. Front suspense is completely rebuilt, with new everything, springs, bushings, ball-joints, tie-rods, shocks, new 1  1/8” front sway bar, and new upper control arm bushings. It has a large four row radiator, power steering, and power disc brakes.

This beautiful car has a really nice stereo system that retains the original factory look.

This beauty has center line wheels with new tires and I also have the Stock SS wheels and Beauty rims, buyers’ choice on wheels. I think I’ve covered about everything! If you want more details or info, feel free to call me or email me! I’d love to answer any questions! Thank You!

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.

Chevy rolls out Silverado HD High Country

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

It's been a good week for heavy-duty truck buyers. First, Ram revealed the Black Package for its HD trucks, then it rolled out its new Power Wagon, and now Chevy's getting in on the action with its Silverado High Country HD. Okay, so it may not pack quite the attitude of Ram's latest 2500-series offerings, but the High Country HD will come as a welcome addition to the Chevy Trucks range to those looking to pull their horse, boat or other trailer without skimping on creature comforts.
Rolled out a little under a year ago, the High Country trim is Chevy's answer to the likes of the GMC Denali, Ford King Ranch and Ram Longhorn. It has until now only been offered on the light duty, 1500-series Silverado, but now extends to the 2500 and 3500-series HD models, as well.
So what sets a High Country pickup apart from lesser Chevy trucks? You'll be able to pick it out based on its chrome horizontal grille, body-color bumpers, 6-inch tubular side steps, 20-inch chrome wheels (18-inch on the 3500 and 17-inch on the dualie) and, of course, plenty of special badging. But it's inside where the High Country makes its mark, with a cabin decked out in saddle brown perforated leather, seats that are both heated and cooled, eight-inch touchscreen with full MyLink suite, Bose audio and park assist functions front and rear to keep those color-keyed bumpers looking fresh. (Though Chevy hasn't yet showed us the interior of the HD model, it'll presumably look mostly the same as the cab in the 1500 High Country in the gallery below.)

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible gives us a couple of looks

Sat, 02 Mar 2013

Put away your pixel paintbrushes, kids. Pack up your Photoshop. This is the real-deal 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible in its first official images. The droptop Chevrolet will roll into the bright lights of the Palexpo exhibition at next week's Geneva Motor Show, a four-wheeled statement of intent that General Motors is serious about taking its Corvette franchise global.
Chevy isn't providing anything in the way of further details with these two shots, but we've learned at least a couple of things about the car shown here. First off, the example seen in these images is fitted with the optional Z51 Performance Package - something that isn't immediately evident because there's no sign of the coupe model's prominent ductwork on its rear haunches. In order to accommodate the power folding hard tonneau cover, the vents that feed the transmission and differential coolers have been relocated to the underside of the car. The dark paint color on this example also does a good job of muting the contrasting black front fender vents and hood opening - Z51-spec design details that have proven to be somewhat controversial.
One other thing to note: These two shots also display the Stingray wearing different alloy wheels than the split five-spoke design shown at the hardtop's Detroit Auto Show unveiling in January. The simpler, thin five-spoke wheels should do a good job of showing off the Z51's upgraded brakes, and they'll be optional on the coupe as well.
