This car has less than 8000 miles on a professionally rebuilt 350 blue printed and balanced, line bored 40 over, Roller rockers. This is a running machine. The transmission has been replaced with a 700 r4 with overdrive, which really cuts back on the gas mileage. Speedometer does work but you would need to put a gear driven speedo in the transmission the one that is in it is electronic. The air compressor works but there is a leak somewhere I haven't had time to look at it . It also has a recent paint job and looks great. The seat needs recovered I will send the upholstery with the car if you want to change it out, if so deduct 250.00 from the final bid. Otherwise I will re-upholstery before you pick it up. It has new carpet, New dash, All new door and window seals, new tires. This will make someone a great car. GOOD LUCK!

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR
Fri, 08 Feb 2013There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.

Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
