1972 El Camino SS - Mod-Restoration off the frame. All steel body which is straight as ever. New glass - tented. Chrome is in very good condition. This is not a show only car but the condition is outstanding for a weekend club car and I would not hesitate entering it in most auto shows. I have driven it on 1,200 trip and I would not hesitate driving it across the country. Most of the time we drive it on weekends and to car club events; it always turns heads and get's many........thumbs up! DRIVE TRAIN: LT1 350 EFI engine with 4 speed automatic. Shorty headers. Estimate only about 20K miles since restored. 4 wheel disc brakes. Suspension replaced. INTERIOR: New interior; headliner, door panels, dash, bucket seats, & console. 2013 Alpine Advanced Bluetooth CD/HD Radio Receiver with hands free cell phone connectivity, MP3, & Pandora with 4 Alpine Speakers. The sound is excellent! EXTERIOR: The photos reflect it all ~ straight all steel body -- one does not paint it black if it is not straight and dent free, white SS hood strips, Line-X coated bed liner, Craftec Inc Vinyl Tonneau Cover with shock hinges. American Racing Chrome Mag Wheels with lock nuts. All emblems and trim removed, shaved doors with electric punch driver door entry. 2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.

For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
