Corvette Convertible Lt4 Z51 Ls3 Linen Leather Dual Mode Exhaust 9200mi on 2040-cars
Simpsonville, South Carolina, United States
I am selling my awesome 2008 Black Corvette Convertible. It is a Garage Queen CLEAN 2008 model with ONLY 9261 Miles. It was a special order model with the $8600 LT4 package with Sienna Leather Interior, LS3 Engine and 6 Speed Transmission. It also was ordered with the Z51 Performance package, Dual Mode Exhaust, Chrome Aluminum Wheels, Heads Up Display, heated seats, and Power Top. It has been kept in my garage and only driven on nice weather days. Has a clean carfax and good tread on the tires. The body and paint are reflective of the mileage and condition and it shines as it is wax smooth and clean. The Corvette is factory stock with the exception of a mild to wild switch for the exhaust and has not been tracked or driven hard and comes with a logo cover to keep it clean inside the garage. I have all of the manuals, window sticker and comes with maintenance records. Also has both Key Fobs. Its ready for you and the open road. The exhaust sound on the road with the top down is awesome and the leather LT4 Sienna interior will get many looks as it makes this Vette Pop.... |

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible gives us a couple of looks
Sat, 02 Mar 2013Put away your pixel paintbrushes, kids. Pack up your Photoshop. This is the real-deal 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible in its first official images. The droptop Chevrolet will roll into the bright lights of the Palexpo exhibition at next week's Geneva Motor Show, a four-wheeled statement of intent that General Motors is serious about taking its Corvette franchise global.
Chevy isn't providing anything in the way of further details with these two shots, but we've learned at least a couple of things about the car shown here. First off, the example seen in these images is fitted with the optional Z51 Performance Package - something that isn't immediately evident because there's no sign of the coupe model's prominent ductwork on its rear haunches. In order to accommodate the power folding hard tonneau cover, the vents that feed the transmission and differential coolers have been relocated to the underside of the car. The dark paint color on this example also does a good job of muting the contrasting black front fender vents and hood opening - Z51-spec design details that have proven to be somewhat controversial.
One other thing to note: These two shots also display the Stingray wearing different alloy wheels than the split five-spoke design shown at the hardtop's Detroit Auto Show unveiling in January. The simpler, thin five-spoke wheels should do a good job of showing off the Z51's upgraded brakes, and they'll be optional on the coupe as well.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1

The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]
Sun, 03 Feb 2013The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
