2006 Corvette Z06, Victory Red low, low miles - (Lancaster, Ohio)
I purchased this Corvette in Nov 2010 with only 1756 actual miles. Presently has 4,127 miles on the odometer. This
is the 427cu in 505 hp, 6 speed aluminum frame sports car that everyone wants. This Corvette is a real beauty with
black and red interior & has always been garaged & covered - NEVER IN ANY ACCIDENTS. It still has the new smell and
it is super sharp and is one of the cleanest examples of a 2006 Z06 you will find! Ebony interior with custom
victory red leather enhancements. Shortly after purchasing this car I had the following extras installed:
Callaway shifter (with very short throw), Custom victory red matching leather (by Down South Vettes) on the
emergency brake handle, shifter boot, and both door handles. Z06 chrome door sills, Z06 console lid, Z06 seat belt
shoulder pads, Z06 floor mats Z06 ID badge(on radiator), and Jake rear mat. 427 badging on hood. This car is
exceptionally clean - looks and runs like new; you won't be disappointed.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey
Mon, 25 Feb 2013If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.
