1990 Zr-1 Corvette 5,621 Mile Original Survivor Lt-5 Collectible on 2040-cars
Saint James, New York, United States
True flawless original survivor. I bought this car in 1998 with 936 miles with the wrappers still on seats and steering wheel. This car was never in the rain. Paint and glass is water spot free. Windshield is original and has no delamination. I did carefully remove original tires and stored correctly and they are included with car. All ZR-1's have some minor issues, they were all corrected professionally. Fuel injectors, cd player, speaker amps, headlight gears . Car has no issues and looks and drives as new. There is not a single scratch or chip on this cars perfect original paint. Mobil 1 10w30 has always been used . Antifreeze and brake fluid has also been completely flushed as well. Car comes with original pizza box, 2 window stickers, all warning tags removed from roof panel, emergency brake lever etc , plus wrappers from seats and steering wheel. I've had collector insurance on car for years, ( $40,000 agreed value ) and next year when 25 yrs old it will drop even more. Get this mint survivor before prices skyrocket. Lots of other literature about car and magazines from the 80's talking about this car included too.

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
