Low milage, beautiful head turning matching numbers 73 Corvette Convertible - base 350. Have over $40k into this
car with significant restoration using quality parts. Car has a/c, AM/FM Cassette (original to the car as a new car
dealer installation. Cassette was not a factory option in 73) , 3 speed auto, original astro glass, and special
order dealer wheels. New: seals and gaskets so no leaks, new ac compressor, rebuilt front and rear end, edlebrock
carb and intake (easy to maintain), brakes, gas tank, thermostat, water pump, alternator, exhaust system, and much
more replaced or repaired. Engine throughly checked and has ideal compression. Transmission and cooling system
throughly checked. Even the clock works. Problems: one paint bubble on the hood. I tried to get a good picture of
it but you have to look really close to see it. Door trim to the storage area will come loose (is behind the
seats). A couple of small paint chips at the doors - again tried to photo but hard to see. Other than this I dont
know of any other issues. It runs like a dream. My expert classic vette mechanic describes this as one of the
nicest he has seen. Included copies of the key receipts in this listing. Garage kept and has 2 car covers on it.

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette
Thu, 14 Feb 2013When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
