I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL 1975 CONVERTIBLE CORVETTE FOR SALE BY OWNER.  IT RUNS INCREDIBLY STRONG AND SOUNDS GREAT.  THE CAR IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND I AM SELLING BECAUSE I DO NOT EVER HAVE THE TIME TO DRIVE IT, PLUS SEVERAL KIDS IN COLLEGE.  THE CAR HAS A BRAND NEW CONVERTIBLE TOP ON IT.  IT ALSO COMES WITH A HARD TOP.  I WOULD RANK ENGINE PERFORMANCE 9.5/10.  IT RUNS GREAT.  THE CAR HAS A NEW PAINT JOB AND I WOULD RANJ THE PAINT AT 9/10.  THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD CONDITION, AND I WOULD RANK THE INTERIOR AT 8.5/10.  THIS IS NOT A PRESTINE SPOTLESS CAR, BUT IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND COULD BE PRESTINE WITH A LITTLE WORK.  ENGINE RUNS SMOOTH AND SHIFTS OUT NICELY. I AM NOT SURE OF SIZE OF ENGINE, I DO BELIEVE IT IS A 454.  CAR WAS BOUGHT WITH ALL NUMBERS MATCHING. IT IS ORGINAL ENGINE.  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME OR EMAIL ME.  I WOULD ENTERTAIN REASONABLE OFFERS, OTHERWISE IT WILL SELL AT A NO RESERVE AUCTION.  THANKS BILLY 205-368-9681

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015

Mon, 25 Feb 2013 17:59:00 EST

General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.

Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1

Mon, 11 Feb 2013 10:00:00 EST

The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

Mon, 07 Oct 2013 17:00:00 EST

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
