So I have a 1964 Chevy Corvair Monza I inherited it. Im the 2nd owner. it has a 900 engine wit 110 horse power .it has been in dry storage for over 30 years it is 100% stock with 56,xxx orig miles on it. I have clean out the fuel tank, lines along with the oil lines. New belt on it an both cars were rebuild as well, with a new spark plug set have orig if interested. New tires were put on it as well. As for the interior it isn't half bad couple of tares on the seats but on the seems, so an easy fix. an as for the paint I would paint it but if u want to take the time to buff and wax it paint is great. It runs and drives very fast..it even has the orig snow chains in the trunk. there are only two rust spots one on the floor board of the drivers side size of a quarter and in the engine compartment where the battery goes. Have put a cover over it for my battery.. This car is an easy fix for it to be a great show car, worth lots of $$$$ As you can see in the photos the car is 100% with matching numbers. as for shipping all buyers pay for shipping.. but if your local u can dive it an test it out, if u would like.. any questions please feel free to ask or call 206 979 7341

Vert-A-Pac train cars kept your Chevy Vega's price in check
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Our apologies to those who've seen this before, but for the rest of the class, how awesome are these pictures of the Vert-A-Pac shipping system General Motors came up with to ship the Chevrolet Vega back in the 1970s? Developed along with Southern Pacific Railroad, GM was able to double the amount of Vega models it could ship by packing them into the unique storage cars vertically.
At the time, rail cars could fit 15 vehicles each, but Chevrolet was able to lower shipping costs by making it possible to ship 30 Vegas per rail car, in turn allowing the price of the Vega to remain as low as possible. Each rail car had 30 doors that would fold down so that a Vega could be strapped on, and then a forklift would come along and lift the door into place. All the cars were positioned nose down, and since they were shipped with all of their required fluids, certain aspects had to be designed specifically for this type of shipping, including an oil baffle in the engine, a special battery and even a repositioned windshield washer reservoir. See for yourself in our image gallery above.
GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015
Mon, 25 Feb 2013General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.
