1964 CHEVROLET CORVAIR 900 MONZA SPIDER CONVERTIBLE TURBO RARE NO RESERVE Up for auction is this beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible, it is a 900 Monza Spider model, it has a very powerful 150HP Turbocharged flat 6cyl engine, manual transmission, power top and alot more.... Puchesed off the second senior owner who had a parcial restoration done (like new paint and interior) it was done ruffly about 8 years ago and still looks great. He sold it due to illness and in his garage is were it sat. It has been sitting for a number of years, we started it up with some fresh gas and drove it, engine and transmission are great, it will need a tune up and perhaps a carborator cleaning just from sitting so long, witch is expected.The fuse or relay switch on the power top is not working and will need to be replaced (being oporated manuly). After doing those things, this car will make a great daily driver. There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
