There three photos that show the only blemishes on the body. They are, 1, the chrome trim on the right front fender is flattened at the bend. 2, Over the right front wheel well is a tiny scratch and 3, the rear bumper has a small dent.The car does need a headliner but all the rods are there to install a new one which is available at Clark's Corvair."

For bid is a 1962 Chevy Corvair. Very rare 4door. The car is beautiful with only a couple of minor imperfections which the pictures show. It runs and drives like a Corvair should. I take it out twice a week to keep it in good shape. Last May I drove it from New Jersey to Massachusetts without any problems. It does need a headliner but all of the rods are intact to install a new one which is available at Clark's Corvair. I just recently purchased a AM Radio and housing [ which this car did not come with] from a "62 Corvair and I will include it but have not installed it. Will consider a fare trade of an older running pickup if you have one.

If you want an eye catcher this is the one for you. Because in the sixties and seventies two door and convertibles were what everybody wanted the four doors got neglected which makes them more desirable today. Look at the other Corvairs on ebay and you will agree, this is th nicest one you can find.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors

As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
