I bought the truck in 2006, with 21,000 miles on it. Interior is in great condition (smoke free) with an aftermarket stereo . I was rear ended once and had a brush in with a hill few years ago. The back end has been fixed but the right front fender still shows evidence of the hill. There is hail damage on the lid and the hood. It has never bothered me so I never bothered to get it fixed. The truck runs great and I have maintained it meticulously. Oil has been changed every 5,000 miles and I just put on new tires and wheels. I redid the brakes about 5,000 miles. New pads, drums, and disks. However, the ABS sensors haven't worked properly sense. The truck also has a tow package and it works great for towing moderate loads. The only other problems are cosmetic scratches as stated and a crack in the windshield from the same hail storm.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
