This chevelle is a 1972 Malibu but i have cloned it to look like a 1970 SS, this cars is not! done it is 85% i have paid someone to paint it 6 months ago an the paint is beautiful has been kept inside sine beginning of resto. When the car was painted it was removed from the frame an painted. The frame was painted an a 12bolt rear end was installed along with disc brakes up front an also dropped in a 454 out of a 73 Monte Carlo backed by a 400 turbo, has all new body mounts as well. I have 1800 in new 17/18in wheel an tire combo a few months back . it has new door handles along with door rubbers, window felts, an trunk rubber, i have a few parts but not all needed to finish car. Parts i do have include a front an rear bumper off of a 70 Malibu front an back bench seats that need recovered some lights an bessels , the wiring harness is all there inside an out,. I wish i could finish this beautiful car but to bills an a house payment ( have to sell to live), this car speaks for itself an needs little to have a super chevelle, floor pans are great an truck floor is good as well no rust. this car did have a title when i bought it but i lost it in a house fire a year befor it was painted befor i had a chance to transfer it into my name , it is an n.c. title an it can but ubtained if u are a dealer or know sombody, i myself do not so there for i have no title at this moment but i will provide buyer with a bill of sale. if i have forgotten something please massage me i will answer them. There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum.
