Rare Mist Blue (paint code DD) 1966 Chevelle Malibu SS tribute. Repainted in 2012. Black interior. 462 Cu. In. (454 bored 0.030) built in 2013. Scat crank & rods, Keith Black Hyper Tec pistons, Doug Hebert roller cam kit CBH3 (595 lift, 280 duration), Oval port heads with new valves & springs & Comp Cam roller rockers. HP estimated between 425 to 500. Turbo 350 with shift kit, 12 bolt posi rear with 3.73:1 gears. MSD ignition. 750 Holley dual line carbureter. 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust with headers. Power steering. New brakes. This is an A/C car with the compressor & condenser missing. New 15x8 American Racing Torque Thrust II chrome wheels & new BFG 235x60x15 tires. Other new items include bumpers, carpet, dash pad, new rear window (had a crack). All gauges work, wiper & lights work, & windows roll up & down fine. The seat covers, door panels & headliner are in good condition. There are three small bubbles in the paint. One just above the rain drip on the passenger side about 3/16" diameter & two under the bottom edge of the right rear quarter panel after it rolls under (hardly noticable). GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015

General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22.
