This car is a 1965 Chevelle 300 with a fuel injected 500 inch big block Chevy engine with a hydraulic cam. It has aluminum heads and runs on pump gas. The injection system is electronic and works very well, the car idles in traffic and is very easy to drive. It has a Muncie M20 four speed and a 28 spline 9 inch rear end with 4:10 gears. The rear wheels have been moved forward 10 inches and the front wheels have been moved 4 inches forward. It has an early Ford axle with drum brakes all around. The car has new brakes, tires, motor, rear end, virtually everything on this car is new or rebuilt. Original magnesium American wheels in front with 5 on 5 & 1/2 bolt pattern and 560 15 bias ply tires and chrome steel wheels and bias ply pie crust tires on the rear. New gas tank, dash cluster, new clutch, new bumpers, all lights work, the car has no rust and can be a daily driver if you like. It needs carpet and headliner, plus paint, obviously, but the metal work on this car is right and done exactly like the cars from the period, Specifically Malcolm Durham's "Strip Blazer III". I have built many of these cars that have been featured in Hot Rod, Mopar Muscle, Car Craft, Dice magazine, to name a few. I have driven all of these cars as fast as they will go, this car is an instant hit at any car show, it is an instant celebrity. The electronic injection is controlled by a digital controller and a knob, no lap top is required and it is infinitely adjustable. Copy and paste this link to the youtube video, thanks for looking you will not be disappointed.

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
