1970 Chevelle Malibu. 350 small block, 350 turbo trans, 10 bolt rear end, 4 wheel drum brakes.
The car is a project car and does need work. the body is in good shape aside from the front fenders.
Factory power steering, manual drum brakes. The car does run but it needs brake work.
I dont know much about the small block in the car other than it has a edlebrock performer intake, edlebrock carb, and long tube headers.
All the Glass is good, no cracks or chips. The factory front bench is not in the car, it currently has 2 bucket (racing) seats from Summit in it.
The rear seat is in the car and is decent shape. It doesn't have the carpet in it and the heater core is out of it right now. I do have the heater core and
duct/switchwork that goes with the car along with a lot of the interior trim pieces and rods for the headliner. the car is running open headers right now but
will not take much to get it road worthy. The frame is solid. The only downside to the car is the floorboards by the front seats have a couple places that have been patched.
The floors overall are in good shape and other than the couple of patches up front they look great. The floors are solid (no rotting) but I just
wanted to make it clear that there are a couple imperfections on them.
Overall, the car is a solid start for a poject car. I did my best with the pictures to show the framerails/ underside of the car and the floorboards
from the inside of the car.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect
Tue, 17 Aug 20102010 Buick Enclave - Click above for high-res image gallery
The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
