Hello and thanks for looking at my auction.

For your consideration is this beautiful 66 chevelle SS tribute. I am letting this baby go because of lack of storage space and I regret it.

This is a NO RESERVE auction so the highest bidder will take this baby home. My loss is your gain.

This chevelle spent majority of her life in Florida and this is the first time it was registered in N.Y. by me. I still have a copy of the Florida title. She looks awesome with couple of very small paint chips from normal use.

She comes with a professionally built engine which was a 454 and has been bored out to a 468 CI block. The speedometer was set to zero when the engine work was done so what ever the speedometer says is whats on the engine for mileage. The block has solid cam and all high performance parts, no expense was spared.

She also has a turbo 400 tranny, power steering, front disk brakes, tilt wheel steering, and a 12 bolt rear end with 3:55 gears.

The car is very solid underneath and frame with no rust.

The car drives and runs excellent, I can chirp the tires in second gear.

All the gauges work, directional, wiper, the clock on the console all works

You can see the car's video by clicking this link  http://youtu.be/E2B6PeNtlKw

There is a $1000 pay pal deposit due within 24 hours of the auction's end and the remainder I prefer a bank wire transfer. This car will not leave until all funds are clear. Please bid with confidence and bid to win, ask any questions prior to bidding, and Good Luck bidding.

Forgot to mention its pushing out around 475 to 500 HP with a 2800 stall convertor. If you want a fast car which roarrsss going down the street , then this is it. Just took it to a cruise night and everyone flocked around her appreciating it.

General Motors shaking up its marketing... again

Wed, 13 Mar 2013 18:31:00 EST

One of the things that dogs the full comeback of General Motors is the instability of its marketing. That part of the automaker got yet another big shakeup today when GM confirmed what I have been tweeting for a few days - strong rumors that the Chevrolet and Cadillac ad accounts are walking to new ad agencies.
Cadillac, GM's luxury brand, is going into review from Fallon Worldwide, Minneapolis and the indications are that Campbell-Ewald, Chevy's old ad shop, will end up with most or all of it. C-E just announced that it was moving from its long-time home in Warren, MI to a new downtown Detroit office next to Ford Field, just blocks from GM.
The other shoe to drop shortly will be the shift of GM's most important brand, Chevy, from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco to McCann-Erickson of Troy, MI. McCann used to be the agency for Buick and GMC, as well as GM's corporate advertising, and has retained some pieces of business over the last few years. Sources have even told us that it was McCann that did a lot of the creative work on Chevy's new ad platform, Find New Roads. (Not to be confused with a former McCann tagline for Saab, "Find Your Own Road.")

Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?

Tue, 19 Feb 2013 18:30:00 EST

Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
