Up for your consideration is a big block 1965 Chevy Chevelle Malibu.I bought the car six months ago in Sacramento California.I think the 1965 is one of the best looking muscle cars ever. Bought it home and cleaned the tank installed a new fuel pump and a good known carburetor changed the fluids and hoses and fired it up.A week after buying and getting it running I put in the barn and nothing else was done.I bought another car last weekend a 1966 so this one is for sale. The engine runs good no smoke or knocks. The transmission goes into gear I have not driven the car more than just around the the barn so not sure.I will drive it during the course of the 10 day auction and update. It has 12 bolt posi trac rear end seems tight. The body is pretty nice looks like somebody painted it white over red not very good paint not sure why this is the way I bought it as a project car.My plan was re do the body and paint. I was going back with the red paint. There is rust holes in the trunk floor and bondo in the rear quarters. The seats and carpet look new no headliner and door panels have tuck and roll covers this looks like there were done many years ago.I will post more pictures soon the car is dusty and needs to be cleaned.A great project driver that I will not finish my hopes are somebody will fall in love with this car. This will be a 10 day auction with no reserve this car will sell. Please ask questions before you bid if you need to.The car can be inspected during working hours between 9am to 6pm.I will help transporting at new owners expense. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes
Tue, 28 Aug 2012
Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
