1965 Chevelle 300 deluxe 4 door. I'm told this was a 1 owner car but have no proof. I have the original bill of sale along with some other documentation. clear title. I bought with the intentions of restoring but lost interest. It has a 230 inline 6 with 2 speed power glide. Car runs and drives great. does not smoke. brakes work good but with the old tires I would trailer the car unless you are 30 miles away or less. It has the AC unit as you can see in the pics. the blower under the dash works but the system was dry of Freon so I removed the ac unit under the hood when I did a complete tune up on her but everything is there to put back together. notice in the pictures that it will need floor pan patch panels and trunk pan. there is some rust around the lower rear portion of the rear window and some rust areas above the rear bumper. the hood and deck lid are good. the left side of the car is in great shape. both rocker panels are solid. the right side is not so good. It seems grandma got to close the right side of the garage. the left front fender needs a dent removed along with a dent in the rear door. the windshield has a crack in it but the rest of the glass is good. I've tried to describe the condition as best as possible. ask if you have any questions but due to my work hours sometimes I'm not able to get on the computer for 3 or 4 days. everything seems to be original to the car.  There is NO reserve on the car. I prefer cash at pickup and will provide a bill of sale along with the title.

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
