!969 Chevelle & 1968 Chevelle on 2040-cars

Year:1969 Mileage:73000
Location:

Gouverneur, New York, United States

Gouverneur, New York, United States

The 1969 is complete besides the motor and transmission. There is damage to the drivers side rear quarter panel where the tire had blown during transport( See pictures). This has very little rust. The car has been sitting for a few years and is dirty. A good cleaning and the vehicle would be sharp.
I also have a 1968 Chevelle which is included in this auction. This car has a motor which runs. It is a 307 V8. This car is complete but is in rough shape. the interior floors are shot but the dash is great. there are many usable parts on this car which can be used to part out. This vehicle has approximately 73,000 original miles on it. Has been on the road in over 10 years or better.
Please view the pictures thoroughly as these cars are being sold as a package deal or for the right prices on each I may sell them separately.

THE WINNER OF THIS AUCTION MUST PICK THE VEHICLES UP. NO SHIPPING AVAILABLE UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE BETWEEN BUYER AND SELLER.

On Apr-27-14 at 18:42:40 PDT, seller added the following information:

The 69 chevelle does have the transmission attached see photos added recently. Condition of tranny unknown but the price remains the same. My mistake. The tranny is a 373 Bore & Warner and the rear end is a posse 12 bolt.   I do not guarantee anything about the tranny. It has a Hurst shifter. Also the car has all rims made by Kragar.

. I am in the process of getting this Title notarized by previous seller as it was never notarized from him in Pennsylvania. So if you buy this car before this is complete, I can always mail you the updated title being notarized. Please message me if any questions. I have already contacted ebay about this and they informed me that I can proceed with the sale because I have the title even thou it hasn't been notarized. thank you. I will update this as soon as I complete the notary.

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

2010 Buick Enclave - Click above for high-res image gallery
The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.

2015 Chevrolet Cruze spied on its home turf

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

The next Chevrolet Cruze isn't set to go into production for about another year, and we're just now seeing prototypes of the new compact running around here in the States. Not much more has been revealed since we saw the car blasting through the snow in Europe, but we can still clearly see new design elements like the larger grille, slimmer headlamps and redesigned taillamps.
Our spy photographers worked up a composite image of this Cruze prototype alongside the current model, and here, we can clearly see some big visual changes are in store for the new model. The 2015 Cruze's hood slopes downward more dramatically, the windshield is more heavily raked, and the roofline looks more fluid overall. The next-generation Cruze will ride on the new global Delta platform that will also underpin other General Motors vehicles like the Chevrolet Volt and Equinox.
As for what's under the hood, we expect the normal range of gasoline four-cylinder engines (both naturally aspirated and turbocharged), and the compact's new turbodiesel four should carry over, as well. Have a look at the full brace of spy photos in the gallery above.

GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
