I have a 2003 Cavalier LS Coupe with 113,000 miles. I swapped the engine out with a 2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged 2.0 LSJ motor with 83,000 miles. Has upgraded 1.0 pcm with a stage three kit from zzperformance, 80 pound injectors, dual bypass valve, 2.6 pulley, adjustable tensioner pulley, headers, and more. Has a drifter body kit with a custom paint job that flips from gold to orange. Has 18 inch rims with three sets of tires. Needs an exhaust, plastic inner fenders, windshield washer reservoir, air intake, and cluster says engine power reduced. I have invested over $10,000 and endless amount of hours, now I'm out of time and money and would like to sell it to get some of my money back. Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]
Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

Fri, 03 Aug 2012If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.
