This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to purchase a great classic station wagon in very good/excellent condition. The body is in very good to excellent condition, including the wood decal trim. There are just a couple of minor imperfections in the paint. It has the 3rd row seat. I am the 2nd owner and bought it because I had a similar 1988 Chevy Caprice wagon when my children were young and my wife and I wanted it just to drive to car shows. The car rides like new. The front brakes recently redone and there are 2 new rear tires. The car was never smoked in. The original owner lived in California and was elderly and had it garaged and when he moved to Michigan, he had it stored in a climate controlled warehouse. There is no rust and it is just beautiful. I also have the original bill of sale, the window sticker, the 1988 service manual, electrical diagnosis service 1988 manual, and the Caprice 1988 picture booklet that you get from the dealer. I also have most, if not all, service records since it was brand new. I also have the original jack. I hate to part with it, but due to health reasons, I need it to go to a good home. I will pay up to $200 to assist with shipment costs.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."

With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes

Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
