For sale is a numbers matching Chevy SB400 and TH350 Donk with dual exhaust and a Holley 500 powering them. Timing system was beefed with a gear to gear system, new water pump, 3:73 gears and a B&M floor shifter. Also included is a brand new carpet set that is still in the box and all the original Air Conditioning components to put back on. The interior is original and in mint condition. The body is in good shape, but does have a couple of area's that need attention from previous restoration... vinyl top and some previous of rust repair issues starting to show again. Tires and rims are excellent condition. Car stored in garage year around. Nice shape and drives like a dream. This is a car you can fly in and drive it home (drive it anyway with no hesitation). 2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
