Custom 2014 Chevy Camaro Ss Coupe - 2ss, Rs, Recaros, Blacked Out, 22s, Lowered on 2040-cars
Lewisville, Texas, United States
Here for sale is a highly customized blacked out 2014 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS RS Coupe. This is a real neck snapper car and will bring a lot of attention to you. This is my personal vehicle and I purchased in August 2013. I have put an about 7,000 miles on it from the time I got it until now, but that may go up to about 7,500 since I will drive it until it sells. There was not any corner skipping installs with cheap parts done on customizing this car! Unlike the common listings on Ebay where many sellers consistently lie about how much they “supposedly invested” on their cars by saying they have a $1000 window tint job or so on, I will not bother doing such. One can guess for him/her self how much all of this ran, and how much they are willing to pay for it. What I paid is an inappropriate factor for this listing, though I do want a return on some of my investment into it. Please message me to arrange shipping before sending in offers/bids! I am open to serious offers!! Contact me for details! NOTES Very well maintained and can sparingly be caught less than factory clean inside and out. This car was also always garage kept and has seen very limited amounts of rain, or sitting in sunny parking lots for hours on end. The dash and leather were protected/conditioned with Meguiars and Lexol products just about every 3 weeks from the day I drove it off the lot. Has never been smoked in, or eaten in. Interior is fresh! Engine bay is also clean and free of gunk. Just received an alignment, tire rotation, and oil change within the last month at the dealership. Also just got a fresh liquid clay job and coat of Nano Wax in June. Still has the remaining (and extendable) bumper to bumper factory warranty until August 2016. (YouTube channel address is right below if you want to see 3 different videos of the Camaro. Copy and paste it in your browser). 1. http://youtu.be/YQy_r3342YY 2. http://youtu.be/ziK2ujYWR3M Detailed description: Here is a breakdown of the Camaro. I made it long and very detailed so I do not have to answer too many questions. I also made it detailed because I think it is fair that a buyer know exactly what their money is going to and the sell is as clear as can be. Skip to the terms at the bottom if you are not interest in reading all this. ***The first 11 pics of the car exterior is how it currently looks and how it will be sold!*** EXTERIOR Ashen gray metallic paint Avery satin black wrap to accentuate the hood bulge Avery carbon rear deck lid truck stripes GM OE ZL1 Side skirts painted to match GM OE Z/28 rear diffuser/bumper GM OE Z/28 rear blade spoiler painted Ashen to match T-Rex front mesh grille in satin black Completely debadged with no emblems at all Tail light and 3rd brake light are professionally smoked with real paint, along with the four sidemarkers. Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
