You are looking at a 2013 Chevy SS 1LE Camaro. It is a 2SS with the 1LE track package. This car has every option available but a Sun roof. It has the RS package, Leather interior, Heritage grill, Hurst short throw shifter, Navigation, Dual mode exhaust package, too much to list....I'll include the built sheet so you can see what is in this car. It currently has only 605 miles on the vehicle. I am the only driver and it have never seen a drop of rain "NEVER"!! When I am not driving the car, it lives in the garage. I did the best I could with the pictures, take a look and you can get an idea. The sticker on the car was $44,815.00 and I put another $2,000.00 with tint, floor mats, dash cover, X pipe on the exhaust and blacked out the tail lights and side indicators. All the tail lights and side indicators were painted by a professional painter. Not that cheap film crap that peals off. The Chevy emblems have been blacked out with a graphite covering. The dash cover is just laying on the dash.......no Velcro or double stick tape on this car. The "X" pipe is the only mechanical modification done to the car and it pertains to the exhaust system. The car is in "IMMACULATE CONDITION". It is everything you heard and read about. The Gray and black looks incredible. This Camaro has all the creature comforts you would want, plus, the On Star and Navigation package is really nice. The Dual Mode Exhaust package is really nice. The car sounds great by itself but when you hit the gas.........WOW!!! If you always wanted a BAD ASS Camaro with A/C that will freeze you, look no further.

I love this car but I am in need of another company van so the weekend warrior must go.

THIS SALE IS FOR A SERIOUS BUYER........NO TRADES, AND PLEASE DON'T WAIST MY TIME OR YOURS ON A RIDICULOUS OFFER. CHECK MY FEEDBACK, I AM AN HONEST EBAYER AND PLAN TO KEEP IT THAT WAY. BUYER HANDLES ALL SHIPPING COST. I OWN THE CAR AND HAVE THE TITLE. I WILL HAVE THE CAR PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED WHEN SOLD.

Email me and I'll try to answer all of your questions. Thanks for looking.

Vert-A-Pac train cars kept your Chevy Vega's price in check

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

Our apologies to those who've seen this before, but for the rest of the class, how awesome are these pictures of the Vert-A-Pac shipping system General Motors came up with to ship the Chevrolet Vega back in the 1970s? Developed along with Southern Pacific Railroad, GM was able to double the amount of Vega models it could ship by packing them into the unique storage cars vertically.
At the time, rail cars could fit 15 vehicles each, but Chevrolet was able to lower shipping costs by making it possible to ship 30 Vegas per rail car, in turn allowing the price of the Vega to remain as low as possible. Each rail car had 30 doors that would fold down so that a Vega could be strapped on, and then a forklift would come along and lift the door into place. All the cars were positioned nose down, and since they were shipped with all of their required fluids, certain aspects had to be designed specifically for this type of shipping, including an oil baffle in the engine, a special battery and even a repositioned windshield washer reservoir. See for yourself in our image gallery above.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
