Low mileage car with only 33,500 miles on it. I've owned it for a year and in that time it has been fully serviced 3 times to ensure it is running to the peak of it's performance. When I got the car it's engine was tuned up to 500 BHP. It was too powerful for a street car so I had it "de-tuned" by Enginelogics here in Houston to around 350 BHP. Note this car has a custom cam, head manifold and Magnaflow Tailpipe..for a little extra noise! The body has also been stiffened.

I've charged and upgraded the following since I've had it:-

Fuel injectors flushed and cleaned

Brake fluid changed out

New brake pads all round

New Bridgestone tires recently fitted

Drivers window motor replaced.

A/C compressor replaced

Extra set of keys cut

Purchased a manual

Rear LED's....note I have the old lights if you want them.

Comes with a Tonneau Boot Top Cover in Black

Dec 2012 - 4 new JL Audio Speakers fitted

Feb 2-13 - New Pioneer CD Radio fitted with HD radio, Satellite Radio capability with decoder (not included), Bluetooth Hands free phone and music streaming plus cable in glove box for iPhone attachment for further control. Note all steering wheel buttons are functional with the new radio.

So all I can say is that this vehicle has been driven around 1 or 2 times each week and has received a lot of TLC. I am reluctantly parting with it as we're downsizing and I have no where to keep it.

The only issue with the car is that the cruise control isn't working. Other than that it's a pleasure to drive and has to be seen and driven!

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
