                                     2000 Camaro SLP SS Convertible Build# 7468

This is my 1 owner 9500 mile all original factory Super Sport Camaro that was purchased from Gray Chevrolet Oldsmobile Cadillac of the Poconos in Stroudsburg, PA.  This car is highly desirable with the Hurst 6 Speed with bright red exterior with the black top and black leather interior.  The car is all original with no accidents/paintwork.  This car is 1 of 39 made with the SLP options.  The car was ordered from the factory with the following SLP Options: Very Rare Castrol "Syntec" High Performance Lubricant Package, Two Camaro SS Key Fobs and Dash Plaque, SLP Dual Dual performance exhaust system, chrome plated aluminum wheels and premium floor mats.  The vehicle is also equipped with the Monsoon 500Watt stereo system, Acceleration slip regulation (TCS) and Hurst Short Throw Shifter.

I have all documentation including the original sales receipt and other dealership paperwork (even the temporary plate that was issued by the dealership), original window sticker, original SLP certificate of birth and other SLP documentation and the original 2000 camaro brochure.  I also have an original Camaro SS leather portfolio which contains a Camaro SS pen, Camaro SS Notepad, Camaro SS tire depth gauge and a Camaro SS key chain.  I also have the SLP Camaro SS car cover.  Also included is a brand new set of factory SLP Camaro SS front mats still in the plastic.

This car has been adult driven and very well taken care of.  This vehicle has mainly been used for just car shows .  Included in the sale are several awards where the car one first place at the Camaro Nationals in Carlisle, PA.  The car has always been stored in a heated garage its entire life.  The car looks like it just came off the showroom floor.  Only Zaino Wax products are used on the vehicle.  There are no scratches, dents or any other imperfections of any kind.  The car still retains it original 275/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1's.  The car has been recently serviced including flushing the coolant and servicing the transmission.

With only 9500 miles, the camaro is not new but it is as close as they come.  It drives perfect and does not need any maintenance or repairs.  Its ready to drive or store away.  Any questions can be sent to jamesbodisch4905@yahoo.com or (845) 234-0361.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

C7 Corvette makes inaugural ad appearance in Chevy's first spot with new slogan

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" tagline has finally been run into the ground, replaced with the Bowtie brand's "Find New Roads" slogan that's part of parent General Motors' plan to unify its everyday brand's marketing efforts worldwide. The new Chevrolet campaign was ushered in on prime time last night during the Grammy Awards on CBS, and the first spot, a 90-second full-line ad, also marks the first appearance of the 2014 Corvette Stingray in a commercial.
Being a full-line ad, the commercial is composed of vignettes centered on different vehicles in the brand's lineup. The all-new 2014 Impala also makes its first commercial appearance in dapper fashion, and time is spent on a skateboarding Sonic and a bouquet of brightly colored Spark hatchbacks driven by fashionable women. The ad starts and ends with Chevy's green halo car, the Volt, along with a young girl with her robotic dog (yes, really).
Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" campaign got off to a rocky start in the fall of 2010, but it did last for a couple of years with some tweaks. This new one, "Find New Roads" seems more intent on drawing new customers into the fold than the outgoing tagline, which seemed to play more toward the brand faithful. It admittedly reminds us more than a little the short-lived "Find Your Own Road" Saab motto (which, we note, was conceived while the Swedish brand was under GM's control), but no matter, we still think it's got more long-term potential than "Runs Deep."

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
