Perfect street racer, just cruise and embarrass some Mustangs or carry to the drag strip. Cold factory air works just like it did when was new. Pioneer AM/FM CD player. All power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, wipers, electric seat, headlights, gauges work. ABS light is on and has been for a long time. No rust. Factory paint. Here is list but I am sure to leave out some stuff. 350 LT1 V8. Comp Cams XE230/236 Camshaft, Comp Cams hardened push rods and guide plates. 1.6 aluminum roller rockers. 1.44 roller cam springs and steel retainers. Full MSD ignition with 6AL. Pacesetter ceramic coated long tube headers. Has nice choppy idle but has perfect street manners. No leaks whatsoever. Can sit in same spot for weeks and not a drop of oil to be found. Custom PCM calibration done by Redline Performance Motorsports. Dynoed car at Redline showed 370 HP and 360 Ft/lbs of torque on 93 octane. 700R4 Transmission just completely rebuilt last month to withstand 700 horsepower by professional transmission builder here locally. Transmission Specialties 3500 stall lock up torque convertor and shift kit. SLP custom fit line lock. 9" Ford rear end. Strange third member. Detroit locker. Moser 31 spline axles. Timken Bearings. Dual exhaust with turndowns midway. Headliner is starting to sag a little. Front valance had crack as seen in pics. Few chips in hood but would not show up on camera. Other minor paint issues showed in pics. Paint would be near perfect if you painted the valance. As you can see in the pics the car is straight. No dents. Looks great and turns heads everywhere it goes. This car is extremely reliable and everything works. Odometer shows 86k but is not even close to that due to speedometer being off 20 mph. More like 50k miles. Never runs hot. Fresh oil change. All glass is good. 35% window tint. I will be happy to assist in helping with delivery including bringing it to you on 20' open trailer within 300 mile radius of Paris, Tn. 38242 for gas only. You can drive it home but with the 4.56 might cost you a little in gas. I can take additional pics if you need. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. (731)-225-7941. My feedback speaks for itself and please do not bid if you don't have your finances in order or your wife now says no. This car is no toy and no joyrides will be given but if you get here and it is not exactly as described you for sure do not have to buy it. Clear clean title in my name ready to hand over to the new owner. Thanks!! |

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works
Fri, 22 Mar 2013When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
