1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS 5.0L with ultra low 58k miles and has never been molested! The Camaro is a two owner car and has been elderly owned its entire life (Purchased new in 1991 by and elderly woman that used it rarely and kept it garage kept, the current owner purchased the car only a few years ago and has put only 1000 miles on since. He has found himself unable to get in and out of such a low car at his age).
The current owner has done minor things to this Camaro to make it more road friendly. First, he started with a brand new set of Crager Wheels and a brand new set of tires. This car runs and drives like new. This Camaro drives down the street straight and tight with no issues at all. Brakes work very well and doesn't have issues diving left/right upon braking. The only issues I have noticed is a tear in the drivers seat which is common with these models, from sliding in and out it was a notorious spot to rip (This should be a very cheap fix). The second thing I have noticed is a little haze in the roofs paint (I am going to put a buffer and glaze to the roof and see what results I get). Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.

Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes

Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
