This is a very nice 1987 IROC Z. I am a very small dealer that only buys a few select cars per year. Mostly just a hobby I only buy very nice cars that are low miles and have clear titles. This 87 IROC was bought in Spokane Washington at a Dealers only Collector car auction! It is a one owner car with a accident free car history according to auto check. As that is how the IROC was described at the auction. I bought the car in May of this year and since then have been driving and enjoying the car along fixing any issues that I have noticed. All gauges work as they should, all lights work as they should including the fog lights and the center rear brake light! Power windows and console mounted hatch release work as they should, All window are tinted including the rear window! The condition of the tinting on the side window is just ok and should be redone at some point. The IROC has a Clarion AM/FM CD with a large Sony amp under the seat It has large subs built in boxes in the back hatch area and high out put speakers up front this car will Rock You.. I have added New Tires all the way around, New performance brake pads, New struts for the rear window hatch, New exhaust system from the cat back. The original owner kept the car garaged or on his carport always! This cars overall look is very good for a 87 IROC and with only 122430 Original miles it shows well with the factory paint job! It has just a little sun fade on the drivers side of the hood and a small area just behind the left T-Top and on the top of the drivers side rear wheel! Will include photo's of these areas. These are very minor and you have to be right on top of the car to notice! The rest of the body and paint are amazing considering it's all Original!  The wheels are nice with locks and new IROC caps,  The factory spare tire and jack and owner manual are included with this IROC. The 5.7 fires right up and is very strong the overdrive automatic shifts firm and quick and will break the tires lose as it shifts from 1st to 2nd on a recent 200 mile trip the 5.7 returned 23 mpg running mostly 75-80 mph. This steering is dead on, and the handles very nice. The tops fit and seal up well, the bags and straps are in the back of the hatch for storage!  As with all cars this age it is sold where is as is.. As soon as I am receive bank wired fund I will FedEx Title to new owner.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
