South Bend, Indiana, United States

This car is nearly a barn find, only better.  A 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with T-Tops and only 26,600 original miles.  It has been in one of our climate controlled storage facilities for many years after being abandoned by a previous owner.  We do have a clear title. The interior is in near-new condition with no noticeable tears, rips, or cracks in the upholstery or dash.  The pictures of the interior will provide you with a good visual display of this.

The exterior is in great shape for its age with the only noticeable imperfections being around the nose of the car (typical site of paint cracking on these models) and a very small imperfection around the driver's door lock.  Please view the picture included of the car's nose.  The undercarriage of the car was viewed and inspected and we have included pictures of this area as well.

The car comes equipped with an automatic transmission, a 305 V8 Crossfire Fuel-Injected engine, air-conditioning, cruise control, Factory AM/FM stereo radio..... what you see is what you would purchase. A pristine and preserved legendary car from the 1980's.

Please feel free to email us with any questions or requests for inspection.  The Camaro is located in South Bend, Indiana.  We will attempt to answer all inquiries as quickly as possible.  The car is available for sale locally and if sold, this auction will be ended early.  The buyer is responsible for all shipment costs and a $500 non-refundable deposit from the winning bidder is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction.  Final payment must be received within 7 calendar days of the end of the auction.  Failure by the winning bidder to do either will result in the bidder being reported to EBay.

If you have questions, please feel free to send a message through EBay or phone/leave a message for Andy at (574) 656-4300 or (574) 344-3854.

Thanks for looking!

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
