Offered here is this 2 Owner 1982 Z28 Camaro with T-Tops and 114k Original miles. It has been serviced and I have some of the receipts mostly what I have done the last year. It's pretty straight, windows go up and down, the passenger window is a little slow, T-Tops do not leak at all nor have they ever. Aftermarket CD am/fm stereo. Interior plastic and dash have some little cracks here and there, gauges all work except the trip odometer which sometimes does, and the temperature gauge which one day when I started the car went up to the top and stayed. Leaves a couple small oil drips but nothing major, no smoke and still has great PSI in all cylinders, hit the gas and plenty of power, hood louvers open up as they should when you step on it. Sounds Mean!! Carpet has some wear as do the seats, the power switch on the driver's seat is not working, AC does not blow cold but heat works. Has aftermarket TSW 16" rims that have some chrome peel to them, tires are good, brakes are good, have had all the fluids changed, new upper radiator hose, Transmission serviced. Remember it's 31 years old. Why am I selling it? I have 2 Thunderbirds, a 1962 and 1966 Daughter will be driving soon and Wife has her mini van. Just going to have too many cars. It has Washington State Collector Car Plates, Never Have To Pay Tabs Again Ever or Emissions if you live in this state. I have driven this car about 2,670 miles so far with no issues.
On Sep-16-13 at 07:51:36 PDT, seller added the following information:
Some things I wanted to add, The engine sports Mickey Thompson Valve Covers and Chrome oil cap, also both air filters are pretty new. I wanted to add that on the driver's seat between the head rest and the seat cushion is a patch over where it was torn and color matched to the rest of the seat, this is how I got it. The inside hatch button doesn't work, you have to open it outside with the key. All the shocks on the hatch and hood work and they stay up. The Color is a Charcoal or Black Metallic. As I said there is general wear on the car over 31 years, the door panels around the bottom carpeted part show some wrinkling/shrinkage around the corners, the paint job shows some minor scratching and there are some chips here and there and on the fiberglass hood by the scoop. I am just adding all this to try and be as honest as possible about the description of the car. The Reserve is pretty low and the price is great compared to others on her that are in worse condition or not even running.

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
