This is a 1980 Camaro Z28 2 door coupe. This vehicle was donated to help animal welfare as we are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. We dont know much about this vehicle because the original owner passed away and donated this to us. He is the original owner and the car was purchased in Texas. He moved here to California 8 years ago and the car has been in his garage ever since.
The car was professionaly prepared to start and run and it fires right up. This car is very fast and it runs great!! Shifts well, engine sounds solid. We however discovered that the brake system being sitting so long needed total replacement. Calipers, Rotors, Pads, Rear Wheel Slaves & Master Cylinder were replaced, cost $649. Other items that you need to be aware of is servicing the AC and power steering will be required.
California emissions requires the original air cleaner to be present. This car was equipped with an air induction hood. The air cleaner cost to comply with California requirements will be in the neighborhood of $300 - $500 in California. However, check with your state if you need to purchase this induction air cleaner assembly.
We are See Noahs Ark whose task is to help other non-profit's liquidate donated assets. This vehicle's net dollars will be shared with the Ventura County Humane Society (a no kill shelter).

Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
