Here is the REAL DEAL Z28 no clones here. This car is beautiful Black with satin black Z28 stripes. It runs and drives good and has been restored. The factory color ( I think) was dark brown. I don't know if the motor is original or not, but it is very clean and dressed up a little with some chrome and polished aluminium parts .There is no rust or major dents or scratches on the exterior. I believe it has had some new panels installed, quarter panels, rockers, doors. I think it has a 350 turbo transmission with a stall and shift kit. The frame has been professionally tied in with frame connectors, and the back half of the frame has been beefed up, VERY well done!!!! the rear end is a 10 bolt posi trac, not sure of the gear ratio. Someone has beefed up the suspention underneath this baby and they did it right!!!! It has polished aluminium wheels with good rubber. I believe the front brake rotors might need to be replaced they look a little thin. The interior is decent not perfect, some cracks in the seats and blemishes on door panels, and some fading of the color inside the interior, could use a coat of dye on seats and door panels. The rear speaker panel is missing now but I will try to have it replaced before delivery. the carpet is like new (BLACK). the dash has no major defects, the headliner is ok, not perfect. (bows down a little) I believe the motor is mildly built, and freshly rebuilt. It has Edelbrock performer intake with edelbrock carb, and edelbrock aluminium dress up kit. Accel hei coil and plug wires. Headers with duel exaust out to the rear axle. Motor has some chrome,(alternator bracket & pully, water neck, Oil and Tranny dipstick, timing chain cover, Power steering cap, flex fan and pully etc.) It has a B&M shifter, pro comp 9000 rpm tach, and oil pressure water temp and amp gauges. ALL the floors trunk etc are SOLID no holes or rust, VERY solid car throughout!!! It has new front and rear bumpers, headlight bessels, hood emblem, belt moldings. It does need a new trunk seal and door seals, which I can replace or you can they are not expensive at all. It has a driveshaft safety loop also. The rear shocks are air shocks. Please feel free to call and ask any questions before you bid, 517 960 9363 Scott. By bidding you are entering a binding contract and you will need a 1000.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit within 48 hours of auction end. If I could afford to keep this car I WOULD, second generation split bumper Z28's are getting VERY hard to aquire at a fair price now days. Good luck bidding!!!!!! P.S I tend to be very anal about imperfections, I do not want to undersell this beautiful car by making it sound like it has many imperfections, because it doesn't. It has the normal 40+ year old car stuff only. The fit and finish, gaps, paint and body etc, is beautiful!!!!!

Watch NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon put one over on a used car dealer... sorta
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
