You are looking at my wicked 1969 Camaro Z28 Pro Street, car was professionally built by Montana Bros Race Cars,it is a 3/4 Chassis chromoly round tube from the firewall back, was built to true 10.5 rules ,before 10.5 cars became Pro Mods with small tires, car was owned by Kenny Doak and was most recently run in Heavy trim, the car was in the final round of the WSN Nationals in Orlando in 2009,and the car has been run in the 6.80's with extra weight in the car at 3500 lbs, this was with the old combo in the car which was a blown Hemi & Bruno Lenco trans, since I purchased the car I no longer race the car & went about to build what I consider the ultimate Street Car..I have had some wicked street cars before, but by far this one is the nicest one ever... I own a professional auto body shop in NY,in 2012 the car was totally stripped down for paintwork, the bodywork & paintwork on this car is beautiful, car is laser straight, all metal,no bondo,1/4 panels were stretched to fit the big tires, all the trim on the car is brand new ,bumpers, door handles, moldings, weatherstripping, bezels, door panels, etc ,spent thousands just on new trim, the color is called "Clapton Green" by PPG,has a slight pearl in it & the car in the sun looks insane,as far as the rest of the car  it is all steel, the only fiberglass on the car is the Glasstek cowl hood, which fits the car beautifully, the rest of the car is all steel & lazer straight, the front end is custom made tubular arms, with coil overs, the rear end is a Pro Built  Ford 9"  with 4.30 gears with a 4 link suspension, and anti roll, has Koni coil overs& Wilwood brakes, also has Strange 40 spline gun drilled axles& all these parts are brand new ,car was totally updated in 2012 by Advanced Door Car Technology,we also installed new Carbon Fiber wheel tubs & carbon fiber trim thru out the car,In the rear of the car are Weld Racing Double Beadlocks  which are brand new & American racing rims up front, car currently has a 10.5W tire on it,but will fit a Pro Mod big tire on it....as far as the drive train the motor is a Scott Shafiroff "Ultra Street 632" Pump gas motor, with all the upgrades & options, motor on pump gas made 890 HP I usually throw in some VP race fuel with that the motor really comes alive, motor also has a Speedtech Fogger ,which has never been used yet,the motor was just freshened last year when the car was being finished & probably has less than 50 street miles on it & behind the motor is a brand new Lenco ST1200 4 speed with reverse with a dual disc Mcleod clutch set up,trans is street friendly & fun to drive, you will love pulling levers...car also has a set of Lemons headers with EGT sensors, which is connected to the V3000 Racepak & the best thing is that this car is totally street legal, has headlight, tailights, turn signals, only thing is no wiper blades, car still has the original cowl & cowl tag along with the vin plate, has roll down windows, mufflers, even with mufflers car still sounds like a beast, the car was professionally wired by Rich Concato, everything is super neat,no spaghetti mess here, cost me $8000 to wire the car,has a MSD programmable box, overhead pro stock panel controls everything, fuel pumps, water pump, dual fans ,computer etc,alo there is an on board Halon Fire System, god forbid the need arises ,& if you want to race it feel free ,car has a funny car cage, dual chutes,& is certified 25.2 which is good to 6.00 seconds...I am still breaking in this combo right now & have not beat on it yet,but this ia a legit 8 second street car & if you spray the NOS ,you will have a 7 second ride here, like I said the car will handle all the HP you can throw at it,this car was built with attention to detail, the chassis is powdercoated, along with the 4 link, the rear, etc, lots of polished parts also,I could go on & on here & I know I am leaving out lots of details about the car,but if you want to drive around town in the Ultimate Street Car,look no further, the look on people's faces when you pull alongside them is priceless,it may look radical & it is,but the car is really street friendly & fun to drive, there is not a nick or a scratch on it,it's ready to go...I toyed with the idea of selling it because I own several businesses & really do not have time to enjoy the car & its a shame that is just stays covered up in my garage & with the family I need a Hot Rod that is a little more family friendly ,even though there is 2 seats, nobody wants to sit on the huge wheel tub LOL!!!...anyway take a look at the pics & you will see how nice this car really is you can E-mail me or call 347-885-0036 with any questions & please "Serious bidders only for this Serious car...additional info..this car does come with a "Title" & it is Street Legal..I have had numerous people come to look & drive the car the car is nicer in person than shown in the pictures, those that came to look at it all wanted it.1 I will not finance the car ..2 If you have to sell 2 of your cars to buy this one I can't hold it for you..3 a 1000.00 deposit is not going to hold it for you & last but not least if you have to ask your wife to borrow from your IRA or take a second mortgage this car is not for you...I am not making this stuff up,but this is what I am dealing with...& if you plan on a trade please be real I can't tell you what the trade offers have been like....I am not being rude here but this is not a cheap car & if you plan on being a sertious bidder please have your funds ready....Thanks..Joe again if you need any further info you can call me at 347-885-0036

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.

2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in

Sat, 15 Jun 2013

You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette

When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
