Up for bid is my 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350. It is a 350,with a 350 automatic transmission.It has power steering, power disc brakes, duel exhaust, 12 bolt rear end and five leaf suspension. I have owned the car for several years and have done allot of work to it. The car was originally Tuxedo Black with black houndstooth interior.It is now red with black houndstooth interior.The interior is new and very nice.The seats also received new foam when they were recovered.There is no factory console but it does have a B&M ratchit shifter and a hump hugger console.This is a much nicer set up than an original console.It also has an audio source stereo that plays the radio, MP3, CD (with your changer).I just plug in my phone and stream I heart radio or pandora and its like having satellite radio.All lights, horn , wipers,ect work fine.The body is excellent, straight and solid.I had it painted a few years ago and it needed no body work.The paint is nice, all chrome and emblems are new and all stainless was sent to Dell Metal polishing for restoration.The under side of the car is nice and painted black. The frame is tied and there are traction bars on it.It has had a floor pan put on the driver side and a new trunk pan.The car has no rust on it.The stinger hood on it is steel and looks great.I also have the original SS hod painted to match the car if the buyer would rather have that one instead.The choice is yours. The motor is not the original motor.It is however a 1968 350 just not the one that came in the car. Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
