For sale is my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS 350 Convertible. This is NOT a clone. All the correct codes are on the cowl tag and the deck on the engine has the proper stampings.

It is all numbers matching including the engine, transmission, and rear end. Even the carburetor is original to the car.
Engine deck stamping is - 7N207XXX (matches VIN)  V0I30MU
Heads - 3890462 casting dated L226 and A267. Intake 3905393 casting dated A207.
Transmission is coded T7D03N.
Differential axle housing is stamped QL0406G2
Rochester carburetor is coded 7037213  2726
The car is Marina Blue with Deluxe Bright Blue interior. It is an automatic with power steering. The brakes are non-power drum brakes. It also has a power top and rear mounted radio antennae.
This car underwent a high quality restoration in 2003 and has only a few thousand miles on it since then. There are no dings, chips or scratches on the car. It has been garage kept since it was restored.
The car has absolutely NO rust issues. The previous owned who had the car restored said that all the sheet metal is original to the car. He also told me that the 85,000 miles that showed on the car when I purchased it are original. I have no way to confirm that but if you see and drive this car you would believe it.
This is a chance to purchase an original SS/RS convertible in a condition that is very hard to find these days. This car has not been modified in any way except to have a AM/FM radio installed.(I have the original AM radio that came in the car.)
The car runs and drives a good as it did new. You really have to see and drive this car to believe the condition. There are no excuses necessary for this car.
Please email or call with and questions you have at 940-231-0833.
I will be available to show the car and encourage you to inspect the car in person or have someone inspect it on your behalf. Please do not bid unless you are serious about purchasing the car and have the funds to complete the purchase.
Thanks for looking.

Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]

Mon, 27 May 2013

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
