1967 Chevrolet Camaro Base Hardtop 2-door 5.3l on 2040-cars
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
This is a 1967 sport coupe car, it has the original 327 V-8 engine and
power glide transmission. This car was painted in 1979 and the car has
been in a garage since 1981 and has only been driven maybe 500 miles in
all of those years. This has been in my family since 1969. I put the
cowl induction hood on the car in 1980 and that is the only modification
that I have done to the car, I do still have the factory hood. It has original disc brakes (front only),
rear antenna (stock from the factory). It is a non A/C car. Years ago I
did the following, new A-arm bushings, ball joints, big block springs.
It does have some usual rust around the rear fender wells, the floor
pans are excellent, the interior shows standard wear and tear, I did
have seat covers but removed them to show what they actually look like.
It runs and drives.
Thank you for looking.
On Apr-21-14 at 20:56:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to disclose that the mileage is actually 134,000 instead of 124,000. |

Kurt Busch to shake and bake (again) in Ricky Bobby car at Talladega
Sat, 19 Oct 2013Kurt Busch will channel Ricky Bobby for another NASCAR race, this time driving a Wonder-sponsored Chevrolet SS, in this weekend's Camping World RV Sales 500 at the Talladega Motor Speedway. Unlike past tie-ins, though, there's actually an element of sponsorship here (the "Me" car was done when Busch was running on a team without sponsorship).
It was arranged by Flower Foods, the new owner of the Wonder brand. Wonder was part of the bankrupt Hostess company, which temporarily exited the US market 2012, and set off the Great Twinkie Shortage.
Busch has made something of a habit of channeling characters from famous racing movies, most recently running Tom Cruise's City Chevrolet livery from Days of Thunder in a Nationwide Series race earlier this year. Busch kicked off his movie-inspired antics, though, at Talladega in 2012, when he raced El Diablo's ("It's like... Spanish for like a fighting chicken") "Me" car complete with a cougar on the hood. He even went so far as to channel the lovable idiot that is Ricky Bobby during the race, dropping a few catchphrases about macchiatos and slingshots.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
